This page explains how to delete your account in the Hookah Helper app and what data is erased. Deletion is permanent.

How to delete your account

1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Profile and scroll to the bottom of the page.
3. Press “Delete account”.
4. Confirm — the account and its data are erased immediately.

If deletion is refused

• If you added a lounge, delete it or transfer it to another owner first — otherwise account deletion is rejected.
• If you have lost access to your account, write to contact@hookahhelper.online from the email address you registered with. We will delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting the account permanently erases:

• your profile: email address, username, display name, password, Google account link;
• content you created: reviews, ratings and mixes;
• collections: shelf, wishlist, favourite mixes;
• social connections: follows, followers, blocks, activity feed;
• uploaded images, including your avatar;
• your conversations with the AI hookah master and account-linked analytics events, including sign-in IP addresses;
• every active session on every device.

What is kept

• Content reports you submitted remain but are anonymised — the link to your account is removed. This lets moderation finish reviews already under way.
• Database backups made before deletion may still contain your data for up to 90 days, after which they are overwritten.

Partial deletion

You do not have to delete the whole account. Anything you created can be removed individually inside the app:

• A review — open the tobacco or mix page, find your review and press the cross next to it.
• A mix — open your mix and press “Delete”.
• Profile photo — open Profile and press “Remove photo”.
• Shelf and wishlist — open a tobacco card and press the active “On shelf” or “Wishlisted” button to remove it.

The selected data is erased immediately and permanently. Your account and the rest of your content stay as they are. As with account deletion, copies may remain in database backups for up to 90 days.

If something will not delete, write to contact@hookahhelper.online — we will remove the data within 30 days.
